Mike Williams was born in 1963 in Sumter, SC. He received his BFA from the University of South Carolina in 1990.

Mike's work has been exhibited in the SC State Museum, the Colombia Museum of Art in Columbia, SC; Lake County Museum, Chicago, IL.

His work is included in the permanent collections of: Columbia Museum of Art, Columbia, SC; South Carolina State Museum, Emory University, Atlanta, GA; South Carolina State Art Collection; Pritchard's Island Foundation; Spring Island Trust; Palmetto Richland Hospital, Columbia, SC as well as in corporate and private collections in the United States and Germany.
